About EpoxyCost

EpoxyCost helps homeowners estimate the cost of an epoxy or polyaspartic garage floor and sends each request to one independent local installer.

Who we are

EpoxyCost is operated by INTELGETS LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801). We are a referral service. We do not install floor coatings, and the contractors we refer are independent businesses.

Where our numbers come from

  • Price ranges per square foot and per garage: published 2026 cost guides from Angi, HomeGuide and This Old House, listed on our cost guide.
  • Local labor adjustment: mean hourly wages for painters (construction and maintenance) by metro area from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, May 2025.
  • City climate figures: NOAA U.S. Climate Normals 1991–2020 for the nearest official weather station.

How we check contractors

Rules for garage floor coating differ by state, so our check does too:

  • Texas: there is no state license for floor coating. We confirm the business is registered with the state (Texas Secretary of State business search) and review its certificate of general liability insurance by hand.
  • Florida: there is no state license for floor coating. We confirm the business is registered with the state (Florida Sunbiz business search) and review its certificate of general liability insurance by hand.
  • Arizona: a state contractor license is required for this work. We check the license number by hand on the Arizona ROC contractor search before the contractor can receive requests.
  • Nevada: a state contractor license is required for this work. We check the license number by hand on the Nevada State Contractors Board before the contractor can receive requests.
  • North Carolina: there is no state license for floor coating. We confirm the business is registered with the state (NC Secretary of State business search) and review its certificate of general liability insurance by hand.
  • Washington: every construction contractor must register with the Department of Labor & Industries. We match the registration number against L&I's public contractor records (data.wa.gov, copy taken October 23, 2026); only an active registration is accepted automatically.

These checks confirm a business is registered, licensed where required, and insured. They are not a guarantee of anyone's work, price or schedule. Always get the price, coating system, number of coats and warranty in writing.

What happens to your request

We send your request to one contractor, not a list of companies. If you send the same request twice in a few days, we do not send it again. Your details are used only to connect you with that contractor; see our privacy policy.

How we are paid

The service is free for homeowners. Contractors pay us a fee for the requests they receive. More on the process: how it works.
